What Happens in a Solo 1920's Charleston Class?
This class focuses purely on solo Charleston and vintage Jazz, where you'll be able to master the classic 1920's Charleston step (and all its variations!), have a go at the iconic Charleston 'swivel' and try out a wide range of vintage Jazz dance moves– think everything from the Black Bottom to the Bee’s Knees!
No partner is required as the focus is on solo Jazz, but both female and male dancers are very welcome to attend. This class does not, however, include partner work or work in hold.
The best way to enjoy these sessions is to attend all the classes in the teaching block (or as many as you can), as content will be taught as part of a progressive course.
By the end of the course you will you have mastered a complete Charleston routine, and will be ready to party like it's 1929!

Can I Pay as I Go-Go?
To ensure you can get the most of out of my classes they are offered on a termly basis.
If you are keen to learn new skills, master iconic movements and choreography, get a bit fitter and spend more time enjoying being 'in the moment' it will take a little commitment over a period of weeks - a drop in class just won't give you that! When life gets busy often its the 'fun' stuff and the stuff we do for us that is the first thing we sacrifice.
That said I am aware that sometimes we know ahead of time that there are sessions we just can't make, and I always endeavour to work around this if I can - get in touch and lets talk!
