A brilliant year deserves a big finish, and finales don't come more sensational than this...

WHAT:
Showgirl sparkle, precision kicklines, top hats, and what is widely considered one of musical theatre's biggest, most iconic finales... it's time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of my all-time favourite musicals, Chorus Line! Set in 1970s New York, the show follows seventeen dancers who are put through their paces in the final, gruelling audition for a new Broadway musical. Famous for the innovative use of real-life testimonies from late-night recording sessions, Chorus Line celebrates the lives of dancers, and explores what it takes to follow your dreams.
I can't wait to teach you choreography from Michael Bennett's seminal musical masterpiece, which I first starting teaching to musical theatre students almost 20 years ago!
Fun fact - the last time I saw this show on Broadway it starred Mario Lopez from Saved By The Bell fame! If you don't know the show, there's also a 1985 movie version, which, (whilst very 80s), is definitely worth a watch.

Dressing up encouraged but not essential - wear whatever makes you feel festive and fabulous!
