Charleston a Go-Go is on a mission to help you find your happy feet, and we’d love to give you the chance to have a go(go!) for FREE!

Whether you want to party like it's 1929, or do the twist, the stomp, the mashed potato too, you can have fun trying out some of the most iconic and joyful dance moves of all time, all set to a toe-tapping soundtrack of uplifting retro music. Charleston a Go-Go classes are super relaxed, friendly, and ego free, with no pressure to 'get it all right' - enthusiasm is literally all that is required!!

Tuesday evening classes take place at The Lord's School of Dance, with a cheap car park directly outside the studio (80p per hour.)  This video should help you find us!

There is free on-street parking at the Heeley venue on Friday mornings.

Our classes are a space where...

The emphasis is on fun and inclusivity, and age, what you look like, your fitness levels and feeling like you've got 'two left feet aren't a barrier to   shaking your thing on the dance floor!

You can meet friendly, like-minded people and let go off some of the stresses of modern life

You can learn 100% authentic vintage dances, without having to worry about dancing with a partner

You can enjoy all the physical and mental health benefits of being active in a fun way, without feeling like you're 'ex-urgh-cising!'

How do I book a free taster session?

To book your place, please use the contact form or email, letting me know which class(es) you are interested in.  I try to answer all enquiries within 48 hours, but sometimes my emails end up in people's junk folder (I know! How rude!) Please check there if you think you haven't received a reply.

PLACES ARE LIMITED - if your preferred session is full you will be offered an alternative session, or the option to be added to the priority waiting list. Taster sessions only take place between courses or on the first session of a block, in order to make sure the choreography is brand new and accessible for everybody.

I can't wait to meet and dance with you in 2024!

Caroline x

PS If you're wondering what to expect, why not have a read of our testimonial page, where you can hear from people like Hannah (below) who have already had a go (go!)?
