Charleston a Go-Go is on a mission to share joy and happiness through vintage dance, and we'd love to give you the chance to come along and have a go(go!) for FREE!
Whether you want to party like it's 1929, or do the twist, the stomp, the mashed potato too, you can have fun trying out some of the most iconic and joyful dance moves of all time.
Charleston a Go-Go classes are super relaxed, friendly, and ego free, with no pressure to 'get it all right.'
Set to a toe-tapping soundtrack of uplifting retro music, the emphasis is on having fun, enjoying some escapism and 'accidental exercise', and giving yourself time where you can forget the stresses of the modern world for a bit, and just be you...
...Enthusiasm is literally all that is required!
Taster sessions only ever take place between courses or on the first session of a new block, making sure that the choreography is brand new and accessible for everybody.
Tuesday evening classes take place at The Lord's School of Dance, with a cheap car park directly outside the studio (80p per hour.) This video should help you find us!
There is free on-street parking at the Heeley venue on Friday mornings.
How do I book a place?
Please use the contact form or email charlestonagogo@hotmail.com, letting me know which class(es) you are interested in. I try to answer all enquiries within 48 hours, but sometimes my emails end up in people's junk folder - please check there if you think you haven't received a reply.
PLACES ARE VERY LIMITED
If your preferred session is full you will be offered an alternative date, or the option to be added to the priority waiting list for future taster sessions.
I can't wait to meet and dance with you in 2024!
Caroline x
PS If you're wondering what to expect, why not have a read of our testimonial page, where you can hear from people who have already had a go (go!)?
