Wanna have a Go-Go for Free?
Shake That Thing at a Free Taster Class
26th April 6.40 pm or 8.20 pm
Think Charleston a Go-Go might just be the dance class you've been waiting for? Want to find out more?
I am beyond thrilled to be back to offering our free, in-person taster classes!
Whether you want to party like it's 1929, or do the twist, the stomp, the mashed potato too, you can have fun trying out some of the most iconic dance crazes of the 1920's-1960's.
I promise that you'll...
Enjoy escapism from the stresses of modern life
Learn authentic vintage dance moves, without having to worry about dancing with a partner
Be more active in a fun and unique way, with no pressure to wear sports wear or feel like you're 'ex-urgh-cising!'
Connect with like-minded people, where age, body type, fitness levels and feeling like you've got 'two left feet' are no barrier to shakin' your thing on the dance floor!
How do I Sign Up?
I'm so happy you'd like to try a free taster class! Classes have been fully booked since we returned in in-person teaching in 2021, but with a new class on the timetable there are a few spaces available to come along and try a session.
The session will run on Tuesday 26th April, and there are two choices of time - 6.40 pm - 7.30 pm, or 8.20 pm - 9.10 pm (sadly the Sixties a Go-Go class continues to be fully booked and therefore closed to new clients.) Sessions will take place at the Lords School of Dance, Arundel Street, Sheffield City Centre.
Spaces are strictly limited (there are currently 3 spaces only for each class) and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. if you'd like to secure your space all you need to do is use the contact button below or email firstname.lastname@example.org. I try to answer all enquiries within 48 hours, but sometimes my emails end up in people's junk folder (I know! How rude!) Please check there if you think you haven't received a reply.
I can't wait to dance with you!
PS If you're wondering what to expect, why not have a read of our testimonial page, where you can hear from people like Hannah (below) who have already had a go (go!)?
